Teresa Guthrie, Music Director
Teresa Harris Guthrie was born and raised in Watkinsville, Georgia. She has been playing the piano for Watkinsville First Christian Church for the past 28 years.
Teresa Harris Guthrie has been the pianist at Watkinsville First Christian Church since 1975 and assumed the role of Music Director in 1995. She directs the adult and youth choirs and also the handbell choirs. She is also employed at The University of Georgia in External Affairs.
Teresa and her husband, Joe, reside in Watkinsville.
Mary Venable, Organist
Mary Hoy Venable was born and raised in Spartanburg, South Carolina. She moved to Georgia in 1964 and became organist for Watkinsville First Christian Church in 1976.
Mary served as Music Director until she retired in 1990. She assumed the role of church organist, again, in June 1995.
Mary and her husband, Robert, reside in Athens.
