Our Women's Fellowship programs provide an opportunity for Christian women to gather and support each other as they live a Christian life.
Inspired by the teachings of the Bible and the life of Jesus Christ, our fellowship helps us navigate modern day trials and tests, while always affirming the positive guidance Jesus has given us.
The purpose of CWF is to provide opportunities for spiritual growth, enrichment, education and creative ministries; to enable women to develop a sense of personal responsibility for the whole mission of the church of Jesus Christ.
The women of the CWF are active in many service projects throughout the year. Projects include preparation and delivery of Blessing Boxes; Plants, Cards & Gifts for Shut-Ins; Collections for Food, School Supplies and Clothing to the Needy; and Numerous Member Luncheons.
Meets the fourth Monday after the fourth Sunday in a month at 7PM.
The CMF of Watkinsville First Christian Church is a very active part of the church. We have approximately 30 active members that meet the second Sunday morning of each month for breakfast and devotional. Then we have a planning meeting to discuss projects for the church’s needs. The CMF also maintains the church grounds and does most of the repairs within the church.
The CMF also has several fundraisers during the year to assist the church in projects such as a new Roof, the Bus Fund and other needs of the church.
The main fundraiser each year is a Chicken Mull that is always held the first Saturday of December. We raise money on this project to fund different community charities at Christmas such as: Secret Santa, Empty Stocking Fund, DFACS and a number of local needy families.
Meets the Second Sunday in each month at 8AM.
Watkinsville First Christian's youth group is a dynamic group, focused on service, fellowship, worship and fun! We have opportunities for youth of all ages (elementary through high school) to be involved in a spirit-filled community.
The youth group participates in weekly youth meetings, district youth rallies and regional camps and retreats. We work together for service projects for the community food bank, local Toys for Tots, Relay For Life and the elders of our church.
Having fun is a very important part of our group, so every year we have a lake retreat, lock ins, a scavenger hunts around town, movie nights and bon fires. For our youngest group, we have an annual Easter egg hunt, activities at our weekly youth meetings, children's sermons in worship and Children's Church. Through many activities, our youth spends time in worship and fellowship, creating a tight-knit community and sharing their love for Jesus Christ.

The music ministry of Watkinsville First Christian Church plays an important role in our worship service. From traditional hymns to more contemporary styles, our program reaches out to everyone.
Our Adult Choir provides musical leadership for our Sunday Morning Service and presents special programs for Easter, Christmas, and other services throughout the year. Our choir is comprised of men and women who love to worship God through song and fellowship with other Christians. Choir practice is held on Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m. and anyone who shares our love of singing is welcome to join us.
Our Handbell Choir practice on Sunday evenings and perform throughout the year. The Adult Handbell Choir rings five octaves and the ability to read music is helpful, but not required.
